Is your 1987-1995 Range Rover "Classic" blowing bits of deteriorated black foam from the dash vents? If so, your heater resistor is soon to fail and the heater switch will only work on the #3 setting. Trust us, we know. To cure the blowing foam and prevent replacement of the resistor, simply replace the foam filters behind the air intake cowl just in front of the windshield. Even if you’re not experiencing problems, this is prudent preventive maintenance. Part number is RV-MXC3910. Three required per vehicle.
