IRVINE , Calif., Jan. 4, 2005 – Land Rover reports 35,506 vehicles sold in the United States in 2004. Land Rover's Range Rover sales totaled 13,546 for the year, up 12 percent from 2003 sales.
Land Rover's monthly sales totaled 5,495 vehicles sold, up 49% from December 2003 sales. This marks the best month ever for the brand, beating the previous record of 4,187 vehicles sold in September 2003. Range Rover monthly sales totaled 1,964 vehicles sold, setting a new monthly record for the model. The previous best month was in December 2003 when 1,756 were sold.
